Role: Talent Acquisition Head
Location: Bangalore
Purpose of the role :
The Head of Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent in the organization. This individual will lead a team of Recruitment Managers and Recruiters. The person will work closely with hiring managers to ensure that recruitment efforts align with business goals and objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with the organization's business objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and priorities
- Work with the recruitment team to source and attract top talent through various channels such as job postings, social media, job fairs, and employee referrals
- Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including screening candidates, conducting interviews, and making job offers
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make recommendations for improvements
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners such as recruitment agencies, job boards, and universities to stay current on industry trends and best practices
- Provide training and support to hiring managers on recruitment processes and best practices
- Manage and lead a team of recruiterment Managers, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed
- Oversee all stages of candidate experience (including application, interviews and communication)
- Develop and manage the recruitment budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process
- Drive a client service culture throughout all channels of recruitment, ensuring that all activities are managed to agreed timescales and clearly communicated throughout.
- Embed the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) into recruitment programs and processes to attract and retain talent for Microland
- Build credibility and relationships with high potential talent and create a healthy pipeline of new age talent for future requirement.
Pre-requisites for the role
- Bachelor's degree in human resources with MBA (Full time) from Premier Institutions preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in running Talent Acquisition function within IT services Industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of TA best practices and employment laws and regulations
- Experience in developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze recruitment metrics to make data-driven decisions
- Experience managing a team of Recruitment Managers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency in recruitment software and applicant tracking systems
