Head - Talent Acquisition - The Talent Acquisition Leader role drives strategy and thought leadership for recruiting in India, with the main objective of attracting the best talent from the market. - This role will create and implement a strategic and progressive talent acquisition strategy, with full executive buy-in and participation, to ensure that organization recruits the strongest talent. - This role will start being TA focused and will grow into the HR-Head for the organization. The role will be based out of the company's Mumbai HQ. Below mentioned is the construct of the role : - TA Strategy, People, Processes & Technology - TA Operations - Leadership&amp; University Hiring - Employer Branding - Workforce Planning / Resource Management - TA Analytics and reports The incumbent will be responsible for developing and delivering innovative talent acquisition strategies, managing key stakeholder relationships, and ensuring operational excellence through continuous process improvement. This leader will partner with senior HR and business leaders to strategize and deliver high quality recruitment solutions to critical talent acquisition needs in support of the organizations business objectives. Principal Responsibilities : Leading Talent Acquisition : - The key purpose of this role is to manage Talent Acquisition function by developing and implementing an effective, efficient and fully-integrated talent acquisition strategy. - Fundamentally, the main responsibility is to attract talent and diverse candidates across all levels of an organization. Strategy, People, Processes &amp; Technology : - Driving and managing recruiting practices, analytics, innovation-led initiatives, processes and systems enhancements and implementation; this includes any technology service delivery and recruiting transformation. - Leading and managing any change management practices associated with talent acquisition processes / technology. - Drive innovations, enhancements and efficiencies in recruiting processes and systems; develop approach for initiatives and implementation and continuously evolve an effective recruitment process, that provide high quality experiences for candidates and hiring managers. - Build analytics as key component within recruiting processes - Responsible for engaging with HR, recruiting and business leadership in addressing key recruitment challenges. - Build strong partnerships with business leaders across the organization in order to understand trends, business needs, business direction and business strategy in order to deliver solutions that support positive business results - Influence senior level business and functional leaders to ensure overall business objectives are met and the resources necessary to recruit talent are acquired - Able to understand the market trends of use of technology and AI in talent acquisition and partner with relevant stakeholders. - Lead the efforts to significantly improve the processes associated with Channel Mix so as to make them efficient and effective. Special focus on Employee referral, Direct Hiring (including use of digital platforms and job boards, Linkedin, Naukri, IIMJobs etc), Internal Job posting etc. - Institutionalize the Talent Acquisition processes. Ensure that the Recruiting process is followed in totality and optimized for effectiveness. Appropriate educational awareness sessions which need to be carried out need to be done. Stakeholder engagement and buy in to be secured for diligent compliance. - Be a coach and mentor to talent acquisition team. Provide leadership to transform the team to be a talent advisor for business stakeholders. - The role is main escalation contact for India for all talent acquisition matters. Operations : - Delivering to recruiting targets set across businesses and entities. - Managing recruiting metrics, supplier relationships, budgets and compliances. - Nurture vendor relationships to ensure recruiting goals are met - Drive market intelligence on talent, competitor landscape, and geographical recruitment trends and practices, providing guidance and support as needed to recruiting teams. - Manage and deliver to recruiting budgets (specific focus on cost optimization through the right channel mix, metrics and recruiting compliances. - Developing the strategic approach and leading initiatives in sourcing (including the usage of social Media). - Plan for technical and behavioral assessments and other areas to support all recruiting teams Leadership, University Hiring : - Own and drive Leadership / Executive and hiring. This will entail engaging with Executive Search Firms and direct handling of the hiring process (given the need for discretion and confidentiality). - Drive the University hiring for different businesses as per individual need of the business segment. Lead the end to end cycle of firming up numbers to be hired, educational institutions to be engaged with, talent assessment framework to be followed and onboarding the target numbers. Employer Branding : - Strategize and develop plans with respect to employer branding. Work on all external branding initiatives - Build and execute on plans to improve the visibility of the organization on social media platforms among the targeted user groups. - Represent organization on all relevant external forums to create visibility for the organization - Drive and own the candidate experience end to end, through the Talent Acquisition cycle. Resource Management / workforce planning : - To be able to work with all relevant stakeholders to align the organizations business plan with workforce plan. - Responsible for working with Business Leaders and HR to build a workforce plan with accuracy for all staffing forecasts and capacity planning. - Partner with HR and business leaders in the identification and prioritization of current and future talent needs, and the deployment of a recruiting strategy to support that. - Perform comprehensive data analytics to identify key staffing needs, trend patterns and support the monthly forecasting process. - Optimize on internal hiring - Providing strategic advice to decision-makers for internal / external hiring and re-skilling of employees
