Head - Talent Acquisition

JOB PURPOSE - Lead the talent acquisition function by focusing on attracting, sourcing, hiring and onboarding right candidates for open positions in a time-bound manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversee end-to-end recruitment & onboarding of candidates for all support functions and manufacturing units, as well as all business verticals.

2. Develop innovative and scalable sourcing strategies to meet hiring targets in line with business requirements.

3. Explore various talent sourcing tools including internal job posting, employee referral programs, company webpage, recruitment portals, campus placements, and recruitment consultants.

4. Source and onboard the right recruitment partners by evaluating their performance, cost competitiveness, and credentials.

5. Work with different functions to ensure position-specific job descriptions and specifications are up to date and reflect market realities.

6. Conduct interviews, shortlist candidates, and share their details with respective stakeholders, for further action.

7. Review recruitment and onboarding related strategies, policies, dependencies, processes, and systems, and collect and monitor critical metrics to make improvements and deliver superior candidate and stakeholder experience.

8. Work on creating a compelling employer brand for attracting talent

9. Role requires to think strategically and at the same time has a strong execution side to it - volume of hiring is high and is around 550 per year.

11. Experience of hiring diversity candidates is needed.
