Our client is India's #1 Social commerce platform which is supported by top VC' funds across the globe.
- One of the key value propositions for the merchants using platform is access to a verified supply of products. The final seller (called reseller) can add products from platform Supply virtually to his store and close a sale. Actual goods are shipped by the supplier (called wholesaler) directly to the consumer without going through the reseller.
- We are looking for an exceptional person to head this vertical. The ultimate goal for this person would be to ensure rapid growth in the number of orders placed and fulfilled through platform's Supply.
- Responsibilities - P&L responsibility for a business vertical, Supply - Identify and prioritize the product categories to develop - Develop supply in the chosen categories - Grow the volume of orders being fulfilled by Supply - Identify ways to rapidly grow the reseller base
What are we looking for - Strategic Thinking : Strong understanding of business & metrics to prioritize issues and execute quickly while managing competing needs

- Strong ability to manage and lead teams and get to results quickly - Take complete ownership and drive issues end-to-end independently - Willingness to get hands dirty and not afraid of going out in the real world
- Strong attention to detail - Graduate from a premier institute; MBA prefer. 4+ years of work experience in Category Management/P&L Roles in Fashion/Apparel/E-commerce OR - 3 to 4 years of experience at a leading strategy consulting firm - (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Booz or AT Kearney), top-tier investment banks or FMCG companies, leadership role in a start-up
