Supply & Ops Head, Logistics

Company : A fast growing start-up of one of the top Business houses of the country

Role : Supply & Ops Head, Logistics

Location : Remote / any major towns

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Develop and optimize operations through different initiatives by collaborating with multiple stakeholders to achieve the business goals

- Manage all commercial aspects with suppliers (i.e., pricing negotiations, critical issues, contract execution, supplier relationship etc.)

- Develop and maintain high performing relationships with key strategic partners both internally and externally

- Execute the service provider selection process and component qualification for onboarding

- Develop service provider capabilities and aid in maturing their operations

- Achieve established commitments on cost, supply, quality, compliance adherence, and on-time delivery

- Timely escalation of issues to leadership

Qualification, Experience & Skills :

- At least 10 years of experience in operations preferably in logistics

- Experience in managing large teams in complex operations

- Self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise, and problem solve in a rapidly changing environment

- Leadership Skills - Ability to motivate, inspire, encourage and challenge the team to maximize their productivity

- Comfortable with starting small and ramping up to a large team

- Ability to partner with internal and external teams to problem solve and build credibility and trust

- Strong Analytical skills to initiate and drive daily improvement independently

- Inter-personal Skills - Ability to be proactive, demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills and work in a group setting
