Head - Supply Chain - Packaging Manufacturer (15-24 yrs)

Job Description:

- Responsible for Supply Chain of an organization including, purchase of materials (direct materials, indirect materials, Services, AMCs, Job Work, Project purchase),

- Framing purchase and inventory strategy to support top and bottom line budgeted numbers of the organization,

- Conduct long & short term strategic sourcing and plan capacity booking with suppliers,

- Managing the monthly forecasting process,

- Maintain effective supplier relations,

- Lead the supplier management team through regular reviews of supplier performance and general arrangements,

- To manage end to end supply chain and responsible for all kind of purchase, vendor development, vendor selection, vendor evaluation, contract price negotiation and management,

- Material sourcing, planning and inventory management for production and R&D,

- Responsible for controlling supplier quality of raw material,

- Manage and negotiate the material cost and reduce it,

- Inventory control of raw material, spares, finished goods along with smooth supply and delivery of the material,

- Delivery of material on time,

- Manage full-fledged logistics team for a variety of dispatch and logistics combination,

- Ensuring system in place for compliance of import and export regulations,

- Ensuring system in place for compliance of Central Excise and Customs regulations,

- Entire flow of material from purchase to receiving, storage to issue of material, return from plant and finished goods transfer, loading to dispatch and finally safe and sound delivery to customer,

- Proper utilization and use of ERP system throughout purchase, logistics and warehouse process,

- Implementation and practicing Theory of constraints (TOC),

- Collate, analyze and identify areas for process/performance improvement in the supply function.

- Team management and motivation of team members. Monitor performance of teams, setting up of trackers, regular meetings to review of continual improvement plan.
