JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Title : Head - Supply Chain Operations (HSCO)

Experience 10-15 Years of experience in operations and Supply Chain Management in a large organization.

Qualification MBA (Operations) from Reputed Institutions

Industry Background :

Should have worked in operations in a middle management position in Logistics, Warehousing and Supply Chain Companies/Roles.

Role Purpose :

The purpose of the role is to lead the Operations team of the Zone, control the operations cost, and strategize the activities coming under way, to design and deliver the Operations and ensure achieve the business and service levels. To facilitate highly innovative best practices in operations across a broad range of business sectors and to have a long term vision and ability to lead the team with adaptable skills to confront change and critical thinking.

Key Deliverables :

Lead and manage the Operations team in the Zone.

- Focus on the strategic implications of emerging best practises and technologies and their utilisation in business to improve customer satisfaction, customer service and operational efficiencies

- Designing and executing an aggressive strategic plan for the implementation of supply chain solutions to improve the business practices and contribute to the company's operating margin.

- Optimize the business to generate greater efficiencies and bottom line impact by retention of old clients and roping in new clients

- Strengthen the company's growth and enhance the future target by closely monitoring and generating business opportunities and developing customised logistics solutions for the clients.

Functional Competencies :

- Ability in addressing operational issues, resolving performance bottlenecks and achieving desired objectives.

- Proficient in supervising and controlling overall logistics processes and services at vendors end and providing valuable suggestions for efficiency management.

- Expertise in managing multiple activities across a gamut of functions with demonstrated abilities in increasing profits and accomplishing the set targets.

- Should be abreast with Competition Information and the business trends/market opportunities.

- Must have ability to interact at the highest levels of the Company.
