Position : Head - Supply Chain Management

Relationships :

- Reports directly to COO

Location : Gurgaon

Experience :

- Professional with 15+ years experience in electronics, communication, electrical switchgear, lighting or Power industry

- Have worked in Lean Manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.

Qualification : Engineer with MBA from an Institute of repute

KRAs / Key Responsibilities :

- Formulate and manage end to end supply chain strategy with focus on timely delivery to customers in a global world where lead times for raw materials are getting larger and supply time to customers are getting shorter.

- Create a world class supply chain team in area of electronics (passive & active components), electrical, sheet metal & other mechanical items, wire harnessing & cables, magnetics, PCB's etc.

- Develop Supply Chain organisation and ensure people are trained, developed and recruited to create a Customer focussed & Proactive Supply Chain.

- Manage Sourcing, Procurement and Planning for timely delivery at optimal costs and desired quality levels for Projects and Manufacturing Units.

- Build a competent and effective Supplier / Partner base for current and future needs

- Ensure Stock levels, replenishment policies / logic, inventory holding norms are established and adhered to in Projects sites and Manufacturing units

- Drive Process and System implementation for effective Planning and Logistics and to ensure smooth functioning of the Order to Cash Cycle.

- Ensure that Production Plans are agreed between Manufacturing and Marketing and is released to Plants, Define & Control SNOP process across the manufacturing organization

- Appoint /Leverage existing Logistics Providers to ensure timely and cost effective deliveries of raw materials to Manufacturing Centres / Warehouses and from Manufacturing Centres to Customers /Project sites /Warehouses.

- Hands-on experience in implementing special tools like lean manufacture, six sigma, TPM, Kaizen, 5S etc would be an added advantage.

- Negotiate and Implement most effective Contracts and SLAs with all Service Providers.

- Formulate Targets, Metrics and Review mechanism within Supply Chain to ensure proactive management of the Supply Chain.

- Under guidance of COO, Ops Head, manage production planning, customer service, purchasing, inventory control, forecasting, warehousing, transportation and other areas.

- Develop analytics, systems and data management capabilities, including metrics and reports.

- Oversee organization wide management of the strategic sourcing, procurement, contracting, and evaluation of services

- Manage procurement related process functions (e.g., develop and implement contract management and procurement frameworks, sourcing strategies, negotiate agreements, draft and manage contracts, etc.).

- Identify and manage risk within the supply chain and take corrective actions.

- Well versed with effective Production Planning & Control processes to make sure smooth production as per customer / organization requirement.

- Keep working with all Suppliers to reduce costing with various sourcing strategies like Single Sourcing, Alternate Supplier development, Zero Based Costing, Cost Benchmarking, Market Analysis, Raw Material Cost management, etc.

- Closely working with R&D department for smooth development of new products as well as new parts development.

- Export shipment Management as per export order.
