Head - Supply Chain Management - Electronics/Electricals

Strategic Responsibilities

- Manage and lead project purchases for all projects (Greenfield/Expansion) and ensure Project targets (Quality/ Quantity/Time line) are met from purchasing side

- Act as a trusted advisor to the top management on overall SCM strategy

- Collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D & other key functions to strengthen cross functional partnership and deliver on the organization's vision and goals

- Develop and implement sourcing and supplier selection plan for domestic and international business.

- Prepare the forecast of SCM costs and monitor Planned vs Actual costs across all plants and functions.

- Demonstrate thought leadership related to the identification, implementation and continuous improvement of sourcing best practices, systems and processes and policies alignment

Functional Responsibilities

- Periodic Monitor of Supplier status, including review with Supplier Development, Commodity Manager, Supplier quality Engineer timely highlight of Potential risk if any

- Define opportunities for cost reduction and validate them with Commodity teams

- Work closely with Supply Chain to support supplier development and monitor any deviations in Missed Deliveries Per Million (MPM)

- Monitor all relevant suppliers and parts information and ensure proper ordering, invoicing & cost control

- For Non-Production purchasing: Apply firms purchasing policy/contracts and negotiate specific local requirements.

- Advise the identification of sourcing strategies (preferred suppliers, outsourcing) and identify, engage and manage the relationships with key internal clients and external suppliers, and exert significant influence to drive Procurement projects.

- Drive continuous improvement in sourcing optimization and procurement transformation.

- Drive all aspects of the organization's purchase function to control, deliver and distribute products and materials.

- Ensure efficient inbound logistics, partner in reverse logistics, optimization of transportation networks and space utilization.

- Strengthen vendor management and drive the creation of a new age vendor ecosystem for new products.

- Ensure deployment of Policies, Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures as per the SCM policy

- Monitor profitability of operations i.e. targets for cost optimization, reduction in wastage and achievement of productivity targets.
