Job Title: Head - SCM, Consumer Products Division

Job Summary: The Position is responsible to lead, direct and manage the Supply Chain Management function for developing, implementing, and managing the company's Supply Chain processes and ensure efficient and effective processes and systems to support current and future business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities : The incumbent will manage and oversee overall SCM operations, including Planning, Warehousing , Logistics, Transport & EXIM Operations to develop methodologies and frameworks to prioritize Supply Chain activities.

Job Descriptions :

1. Responsible for SCM Functions across all distribution channels and all businesses of Consumer Product Division.

2. Ensuring Supply Chain Planning with the right forecasting tools and ensure fill rate

3. Developing an efficient transportation network across all verticals including cold storage

4. Ensuring efficient Customer Services by resolving issues, getting feedback, and ensuring Customer Satisfaction by discussing their grievances with respect dispatch & delivery.

5. Creates and delivers value by establishing and leading critical SCM business processes.

6. Develops and implements vendor strategy including spend review, vendor assessments, consolidation of vendor base, decision criteria for assessing needs for all materials and services.

7. Participates, develops and manages SCM budget.

8. Efficient management of company owned fleet.

9. Analyzing quotes from vendors, negotiating and finalizing terms & conditions of Freight & contracts with a view to reduce lead time, freight standardization, etc.

10. Co-ordinating with Sales, Commercial, warehouse and other related department.

11. Ensure Controlling operation process comprises of Inbound, Outbound. Inventory management and Cost rationalization.

12. Consults Inside Sales to understand the customer' requirements and determines the logistics resources required to support it.

13. Works in conjunction with various parties such as business development, field support and customer service to handle complaints and ensure support plans are in place to maintain long term customer relationships.

14. Responsible for tracking and managing the SCM Dashboard and drive cost efficiency

15. Warehouse management including evaluation and opening of New Warehouses and managing existing warehouses

Educational Qualification: Masters Degree

Preferred: Post Graduation in Supply Chain Management.

Experience : 12+ years of supervisory experience. Handled large scale logistics operations.
