We are at present having a senior position as HEAD - SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT for a reputed Building Material organization (Into Plywood &amp; Laminates Manufacturing) based in Kolkata location. Base Job Location - KOLKATA The job description is given below for your reference : Key Result Areas - Establishing &amp; setting up distribution network for the business through Regional Distribution Center. - Looking after development and implementation in SAP auto replenishment parameter (ARP) at SKU level for all products at RDCs / branch warehouses for smooth replenishment of stocks. - Executing development and using forecasting model as a tool to achieve maximum success and also smooth production at plant side for entire business. - Carrying out network planning and designing of distribution of as per annual plan and creating DC Planogram (bin mapping), etc. - Accountable for logistics cost budgeting and optimization of logistics cost using route mapping and clubbing different SKU, to control secondary transport cost and serve customer better way. - Responsible for Primary and secondary route planning, freight negotiation and finalizing transporter. - Ensuring optimization of primary and secondary freight cost through developing min max load concept. - Carry out logistics planning for primary and secondary movement, responsible for all primary and secondary freight and handled selection of service provider for primary and secondary movement (Transporter). - Efficiently negotiate &amp; finalized primary freight considering cost efficiency &amp; Service efficiency and monitored transportation cost through transportation cost analysis and reporting. - Execute route plan to control secondary transport cost and handled daily KPI monitoring of transport &amp; secondary cost control. - Recognize &amp; appoint new C&amp;FA as per business plan and carried out property, ready warehouse search &amp; finalized for Mother Warehouse. - Handled End-to-End Vendor Management, C&amp;FA and logistics budgeting. - Perform forecasting as per business planning process, alignment with sales force &amp; supply chain planning team and monitored stock &amp; improved Logistics Process.
