Job Description: 1) Responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, defining departmental strategies for appropriate inventory levels, eliminating obsolete material, and reduce damages and sales returns. 2) Develop and maintain logistic network, designed to deliver best in class service to all branches, channels and customers. 3) Design, deploy, measure key deliverable like Ex-D CFR&gt; 95%, SMABC, while ensuring business needs and cost strategies are met. 4) Manage customer service activities including order entry, customer satisfaction, interface with sales, ensuring that company- customer service creates competitive advantage in marketplace. 5) Create, manage and achieve the overall logistics and customer service department budgets 6) Develop and lead Sales and Operations Planning (S&amp;OP) process 7) Ensure Company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation, safety, and storage. Resolve any legal issues pertaining to transportation/distribution 8) Ensure Logistics Department complies with GDA and recommended standards and requirements 9) Maintain receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program operational and personnel policies and procedures. 10) Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. 11) Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met. 12) Participate in personnel development at all levels through talent acquisition, performance management, providing opportunity for high performers, education, communication, expectation setting, and self-actualization 13) Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates. Desired Skills &amp; Attributes: 1) Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills 2) Excellent oral and written communication skills, knowledge of Gujarati will be an advantage thou not mandatory. 3) Proven ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion 4) Record of successfully collaborating with and influencing senior management and peers 5) Demonstrated independent work initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy, analytical ability and professional demeanor. 6) Able to make effective presentations to diverse groups. 7) Able to perform financial calculations and create and manage budgets Education and Experience: 1) Master's Degree in Business or Transportation/Logistics Management 2) 10+ years in customer service and logistics environment
