Job Description :
- Supply Chain Managers are pivotal players in the logistics planning process. They help companies identify problems as they develop, manufacture, store and ship products. They must be able to create strategies by analyzing information and processes and present their findings.
- This position will lead and direct all facets of supply chain management including, but not limited to, purchasing, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, material forecasting, capacity planning and sourcing, master scheduling, inventory control, selection of vendors, and financial costing, as necessary.
Responsibilities :
- Direct the activities of all functions involved in the purchasing, planning, warehousing and control of materials from the receipt of forecasting replenishment needs to the delivery of the finished product into finished goods inventory and delivery of products to customer(s).
- Develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of supply chain.
- Develop strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimize value of the entire department.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement.
- Participate in existing and new product planning processes to assure timely acquisition of materials to support product launches.
- Develop and manage quarterly and yearly departmental budgets.
- Keep detailed records, generate reports and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective.
- Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery and returns on product.
- Understand accounting, legal documents and build lasting relationships as they increase efficiency and focus on warehouse optimisation.
Candidate Profile :
Requirements :
- Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or related field, with Masters or MBA preferred. Advanced certifications are a plus.
- 2-4 years progressive experience in the field of purchasing and materials management.
- Must be a strategic thinker with confidence and speed in execution.
- Proven leadership skills in building and managing large teams.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
Experience : 5 to 7 years.
Annual CTC : Rupees 15,00,000 to 17,00,000.
