Job Description
- Contribute to the growth of the company as a member of the leadership team by leading the sourcing, stock control, procurement and product management across the firm's extensive product range while also bringing new products to market and driving supplier liaison.

Our client is a global leader in the Durables segment alongside a global presence and an ever-increasing India footprint. With a brand equity established in over 150 countries built on great products and strong customer orientation, they are currently in the middle of a phenomenal growth trajectory. They are looking for a Supply Chain Head to lead the responsibility for the Indian Sub-Continent region.

Description

Reporting to the Regional Operations & Finance Director, the incumbent will be responsible for:

- Leading the end to end Supply Chain for the business of warehousing & transportation, procurement (of finished goods, indirect service, etc.) and planning function
- Deploying the right structure and fitment of the teams across the planning sub-functions
- Ensuring the right balance of demand and supply priorities/requirements and aligning the teams to the requirements
- Identification of potential risks in the supply side from the perspective of capacity and seasonal bottlenecks and take appropriate actions to mitigate the risks
- A structured review of the planning process for adherence, exception tracking and ensuring appropriate changes to the processes
- Lead the annual capacity planning exercise and give management complete visibility of material available for any period of the demand/time / SKU matrix
- Lead the SAP migration within the business working closely with the consulting team
- Plan quarter/ year-end transition based on the forecasts and monitor the alignment by the teams
- Review of inventory in the chain and aligning with the upstream and downstream functions for optimization
- Key metrics to be managed (among others): Service level adherence, lost sale %, overall inventory days and, OTIF

Profile

Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience with at least 5 years of leading the Supply Chain function for a complex organization with multiple lines of business. The person should display the ability to take decisions independently and have the exposure of having worked with cross-functional and cross geographic stakeholders. Strong leadership credentials are important on account of the large team size associated.

Expertise in warehousing & logistics along with hands-on procurement experience (targeted towards finished goods & indirect services) is ideal. Strong SAP experience is a must and any prior experience of having handled migration is highly preferred.
