Head - Supply Chain Compliance - FMCG/Pharma

Position - Head Supply Chain Compliance

Location - Mumbai

Main purpose of role:

Expert ownership and accountability for the Company's supply chain compliance for all serialisation matters, UK and EU packaging waste regulation compliance and related topics.

Additionally the project management of various supply related business change or initiatives

Key responsibilities :

- Serialisation

- Company expert on serialisation and US DSCSA legislation and compliance

- Manage serialisation data flow including upload to the EU hub, US systems and problem resolution

- Own relationship and service management with Tracelink

- Ensure continued registration status with the various NMVOs

- Support serialisation requirements for new and acquired products

- Interface with CMOs and Distribution partners on serialisation matters

- Packaging waste and Plastic tax compliance

- Develop a competent working understanding and remain fully informed on relevant legislative obligations in the markets we operate.

- Data collection and management for all packaging waste and plastic tax obligations

- Ensure monthly, quarter and annual submissions are made in the appropriate governmental platforms

- Based upon submissions ensure the purchase of appropriate waste recycling notes.

- Using annual budgets and forecasts, update the business regarding forecasted costs of compliance.

- Own the relationship with consulting organisations that provide support, advice and memberships (such as Valpak in the UK, ADELPHE in France, etc.)

- Liaise internally with the tax team to align with intelligence of packaging material tax obligations as more jurisdictions implement local legislation.

- Supply Chain base data management

- SKU, Vender, distributer, etc. setup in SAP and other related systems

- Project Management

- Provide project management support for change initiatives that require cross functional coordination.

- These may include mass change in packaging artwork to implement new guidance, livery change, MAH address changes or similar.

- Insurance

- Periodically update the supplier risk file and coordinate with Finance so that insurance cover can be reviewed in light of the new or changing risk levels
