Job Purpose :
- Plan and formulate procurement policies and strategies in line with organization objective, monitor material and services procurement process and ensure adherence to laid policies.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Participate in preparation of annual Business plan.
- Develops policies & procedures for purchasing department & annual purchasing plan in line with annual business plan.
- Prepare contingency plans for procurement.
- Plan and justify strategic acquisitions/ collaboration in line with corporate objectives
- Approve procurement budgets for projects.
- Ensure proactive development of business relationships.
- Define and drive the procurement related internal customer service level agreements to be achieved.
- Develop a network of preferred suppliers and maintain a cordial relationships with team.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Evaluate contracts and ensure adherence by supplier/contractors/consultant as well as the company.
- Analyze problem areas, identify solutions and monitor the effectiveness keeping in view possible long-term impacts.
- Keep a track of vendor evaluation process.
- Participate in negotiations of key contracts.
- Analyze procurement reports product-wise and project wise.
- Conduct root cause analysis and approve variance in actual procurement cost vis-vis target cost.

Job Requirements:
Professional Qualifications, Experience in years :
- Functional Skills / Knowledge Behavioral Attributes :
- Education: BE Electrical / Mechanical
- MBA / Post graduation or Diploma in Supply Chain Management
Experience:
- Min 15 years- experience with Procurement / SCM.
- At least 10 years EPC background is must.
