Head - Supply Chain - Branded Fabric & Fashion Retailer

- Overall responsible to drive Supply Chain and distribution for a business vertical of Leading Branded Fabric and Fashion Retailer) (revenue of 2,500 Crores).

- Managing pan India logistics. Coordination between plant, external vendors, sales channels etc.

- Strategic Planning

End to End Supply Chain Management from procurement of Raw Material to Distribution of finished products to distributors.

Develop sourcing strategy to ensure procurement of goods on time (OTIF) - manage procurement spend of 700+ Crores including Overseas procurement.

Oversee quality of outsourced material.

Monitor availability of supply to each unit as per demand.

Responsible for cost reduction, inventory, order compliance of seasonal collection and OTIFs for domestic OTC.

- Forecast of requirement based on market conditions.

- Logistics and Transportation

Manage distribution of goods by adopting transportation strategy to achieve lowest cost.

Assess appropriated Material Handling Equipment need.

Develop plan for Distribution Centre capacity.

- Vendor Development

Develop network of Vendors for raw material.

Vendor management for new products and source from international markets (China, Indonesia, Bangaldesh and Srilanka).
