Head -Strategy &amp; Transformation Role &amp; Responsibilities : This is a pivotal role in devising &amp; executing the transformation charter for the&nbsp;services business. The role is responsible for crafting strategy, seeding new capabilities &amp;&nbsp;scaling up before handing over to the core- operations. Strategy Formulation : - Services are evolving as one of the strategic moats. The leader is expected to craft strategy for services; based on internal &amp; external benchmarking, align on choices of growth &amp; work with cross-functional teams in strategy to execution. Lead Transformation charter : - The leader is expected to anchor key transformation initiatives, lead a cross&nbsp;functional team/POD to incubate transformation pilots, launch &amp; execute new initiatives, working with internal/external partners to enable transformation journey. Own new Initiatives pilot launch &amp; Execution : - The leader is expected to own this theme, incubate new&nbsp;capabilities, find product-market fit &amp; scale capabilities; Service marketplace &amp; On demand service is one of the examples of new capability which will be led by this leader - The leader is expected to shape narrative for external/internal forums; In addition, the leader is expected to work closely with Head, to shape org., culture, internal/external engagement to help deliver its charter Internal &amp; External Stakeholders mobilization : - The leader is expected to influence internal &amp; external stakeholders for partnership, alignment &amp; collaboration in multiple charters Team Management : - Leader is expected to coach, mentor &amp; groom his team of young leaders; In addition, he is expected to be a role model for cross-functional teams as many of the projects will be delivered in collaboration with partner teams Mandatory Skills : - "Platform Thinking: Able to think about business as a platform where external users are&nbsp;leveraged to create value for the customers. - Stakeholder Management : The role provides opportunity to work across teams. - Strategic Formulation : Strategic thinking is key for this role; The leaders needs to think&nbsp;strategically &amp; groom the same in teams &amp; other leaders - Execution excellence : Bias for action, taking stretch goals &amp; accountability are critical esp. In piloting new ideas &amp; scaling them Desired Profile : - Educational background : MBA from the top institute, 12+ years of experience. - Strong understanding of technology and business - Knowledge of Internet, Retail, the consumer goods industry is a plus - - Desire and ability to think like the customer - - Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion - - Highly analytical and detail-oriented - - Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills - Ability to connect with people across teams &amp; levels
