Head - Strategy/Partnerships/Alliances - BFS

The person will be predominantly digital-first and calls for cutting edge Tech-led strategy and innovations in its product and service offerings. This has to be built in an Eco-system that will involve Telecom, Retail, Payments & Banking transitional services with predictive analysis of the customers- needs. Capturing the entire chain owned and through partnerships requires innovative sales, marketing and distribution strategies. Collaborations with multiple partners, products and application developers is essential.

The incumbent will be responsible for driving key functions including Business Strategy, Services and Partnerships & Alliances and will be part of the leadership team.

KEY REQUIREMENTS - 

- The incumbent should have been part of the global payments ecosystem with deep involvement in disruptive technology based offerings, game-changing products and solutions, business strategy, acquisition in related spaces and creation of new business models.

- Global exposure to the payments and digital business.

- The candidate will have demonstrated abilities to prepare and present business plans and also lead various functions including Products, Solutioning, Marketing, Sales & Distribution and Customer Service and manage external perceptions.

- The candidate should have business management background, having run a P&L himself/herself or having held a senior position in a global payments business.

- Should have the strategic vision and technical skills necessary to predict and respond to dynamic industry level changes.

- Flexibility and enthusiasm to embrace evolving responsibilities and leadership roles for an aggressive and growing company participating in a highly dynamic/complex industry.

- A passion for understanding core customer requirements and business objectives

- Product management experience in the definition of technology and business models for centralized B2B and B2C business services.

- Experience in the development or operations of modern digital technologies, analytics platforms or tools, or business intelligence solutions.

- Ideally an engineering graduate with additional qualifications in management. Relevant global experience in leading digital initiatives including strategy and technology in banks and financial institutions, payment technology and services companies, P2P payment services businesses or mobile payments services companies.
