Our client, an MNC FMCG Company is looking for the following: Position Title: Head - Strategy &amp; NPI Location: Mumbai Team Size: 3 Business Analysts JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsible for developing long range vision of the needs of the organization, anticipate the impact of business trends and prepare plans to accommodate business changes while meeting the overall goals of the organization - Formulating Long Term &amp; Mid-Term Strategic Plans for the Country. - To monitor and interpret all trends that occurs within the industry - Evaluate market size, competitor accomplishments and industry structures - Creation of ideas to scope finalisation for all new product / product lines and new ventures - Working with senior management, they refine the affiliate's mission and develop short- and long-term strategic business goals - Drive Margin and Profitability improvement programs for the country and work with Trade and Supply Chain team to improve Gross and Distribution Margins. - Support in the creation of annual business plans and any resulting acceleration plan. - Working with Supply Chain, R&amp;D and Commercial Heads to identify the product pipeline. - Drive the execution of Product development by creating a project plan and ensure compliance to time, cost and quality specs. - Lead a team of Business Analysts who will support the General Manager in creating communication decks &amp; MIS, both for above and for within the country. - Partnering with BU heads to identify and triage business development and growth opportunities - Work along with Sales Team, Trade team and Marketing team for achieving business objective - To seek out partnership opportunities with external vendors and organizations - Responsible for facilitating the business planning process (Strategic and Financial) by working with Area DVP, Country GM, Area Finance and the GBU on the plan and LRP Processes - Coordinate Across functional areas, business unit, and/or geographies in order to achieve company goals - Develop business case for new product development and launch - Drive business case presentation (Business Plan and/or EMBR) and approval with relevant stakeholders - Work with Marketing &amp; Sales and/or Supply Chain to evaluate new products for desired gross margins, division margins and market share - Project-manage new product development to achieve a 8-12 month - ideation to launch- speed for local projects and innovations, Drive implementation across cross-functional team including R&amp;D, Supply Chain and Commercial - Sales &amp; marketing, medical, regulatory, legal and finance - Coordinate multi-functional input, evaluate different options and drive team to make decisions related to new products - Work with marketing, medical, R&amp;D, Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure that the cross-functional team/representative considers relevant customer insights in developing the product concept and creating target product profile based on our desired positioning and claim. Ensure that the product is designed to meet the desired cost and value criteria - Monitor the project through different stages and de-bottleneck any issues to ensure signed-off milestones are met - Work with Supply Chain on different aspects including demand planning, QA, clearances and dispatch for FLTS - Provide necessary post-launch support to ensure launch stability - For global projects, work with global teams to launch products in India timelines, within the broader standards JOB REQUIREMENTS : - MBA/PGDM from Premier B-School - 8+ yrs of experience in in strategy role in healthcare/consumer (B to C structure) or Consulting Firms - Should have leadership experience of diverse Cross-Functional Teams across function - Being adaptable towards the change or new situations as opportunities for learning and growth - Having an out of the box approach, multitasking and also best practices and benchmarking the data, which in turn will improve efficiencies - Displays accountability by delivering high quality results, keeps commitments to work colleagues and customers and consistency between words and action - Lead by example and keep the energy level and positive attitude high of the team by giving them challenging situations - Encourage employees who are innovative, give them accountability for their job, and recognize, reward them on their performance
