At present, we are having an urgent opening for HEAD - STRATEGY for a REPUTED PHARMA MNC Co for their BABY CARE division based at MUMBAI location. - The position is for personal care division and the main product is among top 3 in baby products in India - The company is an Indian multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company based in Mumbai Today the company has a modest presence in FMCG division mainly into baby and adult cosmetics (through licensing agreement with a German FMCG co), it has aspirations to build a robust FMCG business in next 5 years, by introducing range of new products/ categories and drive exponential growth through a mix of organic & inorganic routes. Role : Strategy Designation: Head Strategy Department/Function: Consumer Business Job Grade/Level: General Manager Reporting to : Business Head Job Objective: - Strategy PMO Head will be responsible for ensuring that Consumer Products Expansion - Program and associated projects are planned, managed, and governed in a consistent, transparent, and disciplined manner. - The position requires big picture orientation along with razor sharp intelligence, high level energy and innovative mind set. Key Responsibility Areas: - Overall responsibility for planning, executing, tracking and managing cost, schedule, and scope for all projects in the portfolio. - M&A process formulation with both buy and sell mandates linked to the corporate Strategy - Work collaboratively across organization including marketing, sales, finance and supply chain operations etc to help secure commitment for cross-company efforts - Create and drive the go-to-market strategy, conceptualise strategies and implement by liaising with cross-functional teams - Market Research: Know the market and stay on top of trends in an ever-changing landscape, find exclusive opportunities and prioritise based on internal capabilities etc - New initiatives: explore marketing, operational, new product launch recommendations as part of research; analyse and draw conclusions based on the implications of findings. - Define KPI/ Measures and ensure consistent approach to track performance and provide decision support system to drive improvement and reliability of team's deliverables. - Business plan evaluation and modelling and operational excellence by directly partnering with specific businesses/functions - Strong leadership qualities and organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments and roles Qualifications: - Exceptional project management skills - Strong communication skills - Ability to create structured approach for handling ambiguous business issues and provide direction
