Strategic Sourcing Head -Solar Procurement- For a Client in to Renewable Energy Sector - Overall responsibility for planning, managing & executing strategic and regular supply chain management of Equipments, Machinery, Material and Services. Plans to build in efficiency in supply chain process through strategic vendor management. - Sets the process for managing contracts favorable to Business requirements. - Provide inputs for strategic planning of complete supply chain including procurement & logistic process for the business - Procurement-Design the procurement process, ensure implementation and monitor periodically for adherence - Managing the complete supply chain to ensure that the procurement reaches the destination safely on time - Q.A-Set quality standards for material and equipment and ensure that these standards are met and periodically reviewed. - The desired candidate should be an Engineer (Preferably Electrical/Mechanical) with a P.G Degree or a Diploma in Operations/SCM/Material Management with 15 + yrs experience in the Solar/Wind/ Thermal Sector of which 10+ yrs experience has to be in Procurement for Solar Projects. - He/She must have handled Volume of 2000- 3000 crores in terms of Solar Procurement and must have dealt with Local as well as Global Vendors for Procurement and SCM. - Candidates only with strong experience in Solar Procurement will be considered for this role.
