Head - Strategic Sourcing - Global Telecom Component

Would be responsible for end to end component sourcing for newly designed 5G and IOT products

The candidate should must have vast experience in the field of Component Sourcing & Supply Chain Management. The candidate should have experience of leading the sourcing of all types of electronic components, connectors, cable harness mechanical components/parts.

The candidate must have the ability to arrange the best prices available in the market using his skill and relationship within the component engineering fraternity. The candidate is supposed to have participated in the mass production of different kinds of electronic devices for various domains including telecom sector, automotive, energy sector, IoT sector etc.

The candidate should also have the skills for reading the datasheets and understanding various characteristics of these parts such as DC , AC electrical characteristics and also the environment aspects, and ability to make recommendation for the appropriate replacements to bring down the cost or timely execution of the scheduled productions

- The candidate should have at least 7 years of experience in the sourcing domain.

- BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering /Electronics and Communication Engineering/Mechanical Engineering. Master's degree will be considered as the added advantage.

- Fundamental understanding of various metrics of electronic components, various types of connectors, cable harness, different kinds of battery technologies, various kinds of plastic parts etc.

- Minimum 5 years' of experience specifically in component sourcing and analysis for bringing down the cost and the ability to arrange the components from various sources without failing the project timelines

- The candidate should have most of his experience in Telecom, Automotive, Energy , IoT Sectors and should have work exposure on global pricing agreement of components and reducing of component cost, strategic pricing & contracting with key vendors.
