Head - Strategic Programs - Telecom - BSS (14-18 yrs)

Location: Delhi/NCR

BE/M Tech in IT with PMI certification

- Minimum 15 years with practical experience of managing large programs

- Strong and current awareness of external trends and best practices.

- Telecom (BSS) background is must. (New billing/ CRM/ Inventory management system)taking of orders, payment issues, revenues, etc. It supports four processes: product management, order management, revenue management and customer management.

- This position will be responsible for significant, projects, typically with large budgets and size able staff, focused on meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors, stakeholders etc.

- The role holder is expected to spend majority of time on project management responsibilities and leads the design, testing, planning, and implementation of complex projects for systems that typically affect many users.

KRA:

- As a strategic project manager, the role holder will collaborate with other managers, to execute projects. He/She will also analyze the project portfolio to ensure that work aligns to strategic decisions. By evaluating project flow, publishing reports and conducting review meetings to keep projects on track, the strategic project manager will enable the organization to prioritize its work and result in tangible business value to the entire company.

- By managing an organization’s resources effectively, he/she will ensure that the company has the best people to complete the job tasks. He/She will facilitate the efficient use of resources across multiple projects and monitor trends to ensure utilization aligns with strategic goals.

- He/She will have responsibility for mentoring lesser experienced project managers. By sharing tips, techniques and templates

- He/she will help others learn how to perform this role. The role holder will work closely with team members to provide training on strategic initiatives, such as improving quality.

- He/She will also typically facilitate meetings with sponsors and stakeholders to identify project requirements and ensure they align with strategic goals.
