What You will do Everyday?

Strategic:

- Responsible for formulation of pricing structure and strategy in coordination and alignment with the market situation and competition to ensure profits in both short term / long term businesses

- Close watch on Gross margins and contribution at any given time for business decision making and sustainability factor analysis

- Standardization of pricing tool as per the DHL standard and close working with DHL head office Bonn with performance review and working group calls for new ideas and adoption of work ways

- Facilitate formulation of Yield target in line with the company's objective and plans

- Work closely together with the Regional Heads for implementation, Process setup

- Support sales with RFQ (Request for quotation) based on the customer size and business situations to gain the market / Geography / Cluster

- Responsible for providing regular reports and inputs to Chief Commercial Officer regarding Improvement and corrective actions on pricing, on all Product and Regions.

- Presentations to senior management on progress, outcomes and initiatives from time to time

- Keep abreast of industry best practices and innovative practices and processes at both the national and global level and evaluate the feasibility of implementation of the same within the organization; provide these as recommendations to Senior Management

- Analyze the competitive landscape and competitor service offerings/ products and provide strategic insights for pricing strategies.

- Close alignment with DHL XBU team for product, pricing and process alignment

Financial:

- Align with Finance team for GM data and correction on the basis of the data received

- Plan the annual GPI cycle and customer level GPI recommendation and road map for implementation at each group code across country

- BPM and RFQ compliance level from Finance tool and alignment for correction and improvement on all platforms

- Regularly monitor and report shared by regions on pricing performance and basis the gap analysis work closely with the Sales Heads to develop corrective action plan where required.

- Drive the design of initiatives/ strategies that result in revenue enhancement for the organization in terms of increase in product-wise revenues, increase in business provided by channel partners, increase in revenue generated from sales teams across the organization, etc. through Pricing interventions.

- Monitor revenues from existing Products across regions and jointly with the sales Heads to develop corrective action plan where required; Also ensure increase in product yields

- Pricing, contract and process alignment on All Products as a key focus with the XBU pricing and finance teams

Operational:

- Support in the enhancement of overall pricing and product structure (across products and channels) for the organization through actively supporting the regional sales teams BPM, RFQ from tools and manual where ever possible

- Support growth and penetration of new products and Features with VAS selling on new and existing customers

- Regularly review performance on Pricing matrix like ( STP, Yields, GPI impact, NPC, GM list) with the regional sales teams

- Oversee effective management and monitoring correct data entered by regional account team in CMF for proper BPM tracking and STP potential

People:

- Provide direction, guidance and support to regional sales, accounts team member to help them on pricing and product alignment effectively

- Working with good harmony with cross functional team for full support and alignment

- Monitor the performance of the team on a continuous basis to identify key performers

- Mentor and coach subordinates to develop the team's capabilities and build a robust succession pipeline

- Ensure that the department is adequately staffed as per the manpower requirements

- Ensure high level of employee engagement and retention of key performers

Your Superpowers:

- Bachelor or Master Degree Post Graduate - Management

- 8-12 years post Graduation / Masters

Reporting structure:

This role will report to Chief Commercial Officer
