We are currently looking for a Head of partnerships for a VC Funded A series Startup who is one of the largest virtual event platforms in the country and currently scaling their operations rapidly. They offer a seamless one-stop solution that provides a virtual address for hosting offline/online global events. The platform can be used to host virtual conferences, meetings, summits, tradeshows & provide attendees with an immersive experience while using analytics to generate ROI. They currently have customers in the US (50%), Europe (30%) and AsiaPac.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Head of Strategic Partnerships is a full-time position that is remote or can be based in Bangalore. You will be responsible for uncovering new partner opportunities across all of 3 Geographic locations ( North America, Europe and Asia). You must be a strategic thinker, comfortable managing relationships with external partners, advanced analytical skills with a passion for creating collaborations globally ideally with a good set of connections in the event management industry globally. You must have an entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to drive short and long term revenue opportunities.
Role Must Have :
- Build tech partnerships globally
- Built and managed a partnership team
- Have established connections with event management Associations globally
- Generated partnership revenue in the range of $1.5M to $2M
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and Manage a small team to deliver on revenue targets.
- Research, Model, Evaluate and plan for new growth opportunities.
- Negotiate and bring deals to completion with key stakeholders.
- Develop formalized partnership models including commercial terms, go to market strategy and an execution plan.
- Work closely across multiple functional areas (sales, delivery & Operations) in order to execute your deals.
- Stay abreast of key industry trends to make recommendations on new revenue opportunities.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for this role will be an individual with solid experience building revenue partnerships
- Significant experience working in the event or event ancillary industry in revenue partnerships, strategy or related capacity
- Strong people management skills
- Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills
- Superb communication, both oral and written
- Ability to manage concurrent and time sensitive projects
- International Partnership Development Experience
- Background in contract negotiation
