Job Title / Designation : Head of Sourcing (startups)

Job Description : Identify, qualify and shortlist startups that meet the profile and requirements of Kyron (and ANSR-Kyron's corporate customers). Scope of sourcing will be global (startups located anywhere in the world); expected to conduct due diligence, and onboard startups independently. Manage the relationship with onboarded startups, identify gaps - team, technology, business model etc. - and work with a group of mentors to mature them.

Key functions and roles of the candidate :

Required :

- Strong technical background, ideally in a startup environment.

- Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering from a leading university. Masters degree preferred.

- Deep domain background in at least one of the following areas - (Big Data) Analytics, Mobility, IoT, Security.

- Strong connections to the startup ecosystem - VCs, Angel Groups, Industry Bodies, Incubators/Accelerators, etc.

- Experience with B2B products/solutions especially around digital transformation.

- Good understanding of industry/market trends both in India and abroad.

- Excellent communication and inter personal skills.

- Ability to bond with young entrepreneurs; active participation in startup events, meetups, hackathons and so on.

Nice to have (preferred) :

- Experience as a Analyst/Associate with a VC/Fund

- Prior entrepreneurial experience.

- Background in at least one of these verticals - Retail, Fin Services, Education, Media and (digital) transformation trends.

- Good understanding of startup funding environment, valuations and so on.
