Role : Country Lead Role for Regional Sourcing

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Implements regional and global procurement strategies. Supports objectives to increase cost competitiveness for all Polymer / Plastic needs for all plants and business on Regional basis.

- Lead for contract administration & responsible for the frame work of master agreements for the various contracts

- Accountable and directly responsible for the timely delivery of goods and services as per the service level agreements.

- Directly responsible for the cost savings targets assigned for the region

- High Experience in E- procurement tools and ERP systems.

- Interacts with business, functional and technical (manufacturing, engineering, maintenance) leaders to ensure Plastic / Polymer requirements are met and provides performance assessment of key suppliers for major Polymer supplies and turnarounds.

- Oversees procurement activities and ensures compliance of procurement guidelines, policies, procedures and processes.

- Identifies areas to improve cost and schedule, mitigates risk, manages claims avoidance, negotiates contracts and purchase orders and resolves issues.

- Ideal Candidate : BE (Chemicals)+MBA with 8-15 years of experience in procurement of polymer/plastic/ speciality chemicals
