Job Description - An opportunity to lead sourcing for smart city projects and drive procurement for the vertical independently

Client Details

Our client is a Telecom infrastructure company with a strong presence across the country. They are recognised as the pioneers in the segment they operate in. Currently, they are looking to recruit a Sourcing Head for smart city projects/elements/new products, based out of their office in Delhi NCR.

Description

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain you will be responsible for -

- Formulating sourcing strategies for categories and devise strategies for sourcing the products locally.

- Procurement of electrical and mechanical commodities- fibre, CEN, WiFi & IoT solutions

- Working closely with all the function heads to ensure the smooth flow of operations

- Driving strategic projects alongside the procurement role and be accountable for them

Profile

You will be a professional with around 15 years of experience in sourcing and procurement ideally from the Telecom/Telecom services, internet service provider companies. The client is looking for someone with excellent leadership and negotiation skills and hands on approach towards his/her work.
