Job Title : Sourcing Head Level : Senior GM

Department : Purchase Location : Tirupur - H.O.

Job Description & Skill Set :

- Responsible for procurement of Raw Material, Fabric, Accessories and Packing Materials based on procurement thru strategic planning.

- Responsible for implementing and monitoring effective procurement schedules along with finalizing the cost, specifications of the materials and establishing the quality & quantity limits for effective inventory control.

- Procurement based on L1-L2-L3 concepts.

- To build strategic vendor relationship with supplier and processors to ensure the optimum cost, quality & supply.

- Building a high performing fabric sourcing team that delivers excellent end-to-end performance as measured by internal and external customers.

- Budgeting, monitoring & control of product costs through efficient negotiation which resultant in better GM.

- Collaborate with across brands to find out the cost leveraging opportunities.

- Devising and using fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies.

- Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships

- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.

- Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.

- Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.

- Examine and test existing contracts.

- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.

- Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients.

- Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control.

- Solution and product research

Education & Work Experience :

- Graduate/Postgraduate more than 20 years of experience

- Must be currently working as Head - Sourcing

- Specialization: Good experience in sourcing with excellent negotiation skills and good team leader (SAP knowledge will be added advantage)
