Position : Head Sourcing

Location : Gurgaon

Industry : Consumer Durable & Home Appliances

Product : LED/ Washing Machine/ Refrigerator/ Microwave/ Air Conditioner

Roles & Responsibilities :

"Strategy and Planning :

a. Responsible to develop the SCM strategy and policy, keeping in view the dynamics of all product categories as per business requirement.

b. Based on the Business plan define the optimum inventory levels and ensure material and product availability.

Demand Planning and Replenishment :

a. Ensure smooth demand planning and material availability as per the Sales Forecast.

b. Ensure correct model mix availability as per RSP and BP for smooth operations.

Stock/Inventory Management :

a. Define Minimum Stock Levels of the items & products and ensure product availability as per the management norms.

b. Monitor inventory levels at timely and set up control processes and mechanism to avoid situations of stock excess and stock-outs.

Production Management :

a. Synchronizing Monthly Production with cash flow and rearranging production quantities in line with allocated budget.

b. Responsible to develop and timely communication of the monthly/weekly production plan to the factories / ODMs and ensure production as per schedule

Cost Management :

a. Strategize, support and monitor the total cost for Sourcing function.

b. Understand and analyze cost structure of the industry, negotiate with the vendors for cost efficiencies by forming long term association / annual contracts wherever possible.

Internal and External Coordination

a. Develop effective communication within team and other departments for smooth and efficient operations

b. Coordinates with Sales team for forecast and factories for production updates basis which develops corrective actions.

Team Management :

a. Responsible for the performance and development of the team.

b. Review performance continuously & provide required direction to achieve stated results.
