Job Title: Head Solution Delivery (SCM)
Location: Bangalore
Experience: MBA with minimum of 12 years of domain / functional experience in supply chain management
Deep domain insights across all sub functions / sub verticals. Understand current trends, Ability to articulate/predict future trends. Experience across multiple and varied deal structures, commercial models
THIS ROLE IS ONLY OPEN TO CANDIDATES WHO HAVE WORKED WITH CONSULTING FIRMS IN OPERATIONS (SCM)
Areas of responsibility
- Reviews market competitive intelligence for a specific domain / market and provides inputs and validates gap analysis to complete the market intelligence and gap analysis report
- Strategise with BU / Practice Head and Sales in IL and IBPO to define the service market strategy
- Provide inputs, review and ratify the solutions approach and the value proposition
- Evaluate market potential and internal capability and prioritise solution opportunities
- Review and provide critical inputs on multiple solution approaches to the solutions team to validate assumptions made in the business case
- Review and provide critical inputs to the SD Lead, presents the collaterals to the internal stakeholders such as sales, other SDI teams, Delivery teams etc.
- Review and provide critical inputs for the creation of the customized solution and advices the client on the value proposition of various approaches
- Plans and Conducts client interactions such as solutioning sessions, workshops, client visits, pricing negotiations etc.
- Guides the SD Lead in creating the SOW (Statement of Work), Supports the MSA (Master Service Agreement) creation with the sales team and the BU head
- Collaborate with COHs to abstract best practices to improve quality of solutions
- Reviews domain specific training content and identify new training areas
- Conducts performance appraisals and ensures development of direct reports
Key performance metrics
- Feedback from external stakeholders and adoption of proposed solutions
- Quality of insights provided and conclusions drawn in the report
- Deal Conversions, innovativeness of solution and commercial models
- Quality of guidance provided for transition execution
- No of best practices identified and leveraged for getting new business
- No. of projects participated in
- Quality of the service market strategy
