Their mission is to play a pivotal role in meeting India's growing energy needs in an efficient, sustainable and socially responsible manner. The company creates value through reliable and efficient generation of non-conventional power through innovation in solar and wind power solutions.

They generates close to 745 MW of installed and operational clean energy capacity through wind and solar power across the states of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Primarily a wholesale power generator

Role Purpose :

The broad role is to focus on leading edge technological developments in the field of renewable energy for large scale and distributed applications. Resource conservation, energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies that can be deployed / indigenized to support and augment company's future growth plans.

The key responsibilities of this role include :

- A think tank for the new technology development in solar space at the Group level.

- Evaluation of technology in the renewable space and in the energy conservation space and develop business models for commercialization

- Demonstrate the new technologies through pilot projects for further commercial development.

- Extensive experience in working on strategic product & process development resulting in tangible improvement in organizational profitability.

- Strong organizational skills and proven credentials to overcome challenges, solve complex problems, rapidly develop proficiency with products & processes and drive projects through to completion.

- International exposure and working experience with people across countries; have a wide network.

- Proven ability to manage change with ease and to deliver even under stressful conditions.

- Good understanding of the Indian business context.

Professional Experience / Qualifications :

- The ideal candidate would have minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in power sector out of which at least for about five years should have dealt with renewable energy.

- Should be an Engineer from a reputed engineering college. M.Tech (Energy Sc & Tech) and or Ph.D (Solar Energy Application) will be added advantage.
