Our Client is looking for a Business Development Head to join their SME team in Gurgaon, India.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Acquire and manage a team of business developers who would be responsible for onboarding new-to-bank relationships across diverse segments (Manufacturer/ Exporters/ Importers/ Distributors etc) across SME clients.
2. Grow the Bank's revenue base by deepening NTB customer relationships.
3. Proactively identify opportunities to structure innovative solutions and cross-sell the full range of products tailored to customer needs and requirements, increasing share of wallet.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
1. Meeting new prospects to identify, dimension and introduce bankable opportunities.
2. Prepare account plans for important customers.
3. Manage credit quality of the NTB names - Understand Industry/ Segment trends, obligor outlook and develop, implement credit strategy for managed names. Apply established policies and guidelines to complete periodic credit reviews. Ensure that appropriate credit and documentation standards are maintained.
4. Ensuring basic KYC/AML/CADD etc for the NTB customers.
5. Ensuring that smooth day to day delivery of the products and services offered by Bank up to customer satisfaction.
6. Help in cross selling GCG and CAW products across client base

1. Acquisition of new-to-bank customers and managing team of BDs.

Percentage of Travel: Yes, 25% of the Time
Qualifications: MBA/CA from reputed institutes (Tier I/II/III colleges) and relevant commercial banking experience of 10 years
