Position Title : Sr. Trader

Job Purpose :

- To lead Non Ferrous Metals Dealing Desk with overall responsibility of Purchase / Procurement and Sales with respect to the assigned revenue & profitability targets.

- The role encompasses Purchase Negotiations, Operations Management, Project Planning & Management, Man Management and Sales.

Key Responsibilities :

- Mentor, developing and build highly motivated team who in turn is capable of taking over responsibility of routine work in regular purchase & sales

- Direction towards the business activities of the desk and providing guidance/ advice to the team

- Take steps towards team development, effective and timely delegation, identifying and nurturing new talent and capacity optimization

- Business Development, Strategic Planning and Implementation of Purchase & Sales Strategies

- Costing, Bidding and finalization of commercial terms and conditions of purchase as well as sales

- Ideating strategies/ products towards setting up and to optimize/ improve the Non Ferrous Metals Desk performance towards purchase and sales

- Managing and developing Client, Bankers & suppliers Relationships

- Partnering effectively with third parties, regulatory bodies and others, as required

- Providing business inputs and overseeing day-to-day trading activities
