Head/Senior Manager - Record To Report

Head - R2R

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Manager in Record-to-Report (R2R). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the R2R function, including financial reporting, account reconciliation, and process optimization. Additionally, the Senior Manager will lead and mentor a team of 15 R2R professionals, ensuring high performance and adherence to best practices.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the R2R team in the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, coordinating activities with cross-functional teams to meet reporting deadlines.

- Oversee the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet items, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

- Develop and implement R2R policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency, minimize risk, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the R2R function, driving initiatives to streamline workflows and increase productivity.

- Provide leadership and direction to the R2R team, setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Tax, and Audit teams, to support business objectives and address accounting-related issues or concerns.

- Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations, evaluating the impact on R2R processes and implementing necessary updates or adjustments.

- Prepare and present periodic reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting key financial metrics, trends, and insights.
