Head/Senior Manager - Indirect Taxation

- Verifying and approving the working for payment of GST and filing of Returns and ensuring that the returns under GST for all the States are filed within the due date.

- Ensuring that eligible input tax credit is being availed and utilized and correct payment of tax is made within due date.

- Ensuring Optimization of Input Tax Credit and minimize blocking of GST amount within the applicable framework

Updating with the changes in GST Law affecting business to all concerned.

- Providing timely clarification on applicability of GST on transactions on queries from the business divisions.

- Maintenance of correct rate of tax, tax conditions and necessary validations in SAP in co-ordination with IT to ensure charging of correct GST as per law.

- Compliance for Input Service Distribution Registration (ISD)

- Ensuring filing of Job work return as per due date under the respective regulation.

- Ensuring filing of GST Annual Returns in Form GSTR-9 and Turnover Reconciliation Report in GSTR-9C within the due date for all the States.

- Guiding and advising the team for filing reply to various Notices issued by the GST Authorities and appearing for Personal Hearing wherever required.

- Guiding and advising the team for completing assessment / audit, filing of replies to the pre-assessment notices under GST and filing of appeal against the Orders under GST, VAT, CST and Service Tax.
