Job Details :

Objective :

- To maintain cordial relation between Management and workers, make sure that disputes and issues are taken care at grass root level, handling/settling issues with workers with keeping in mind benefit of management.

Primary responsibility :

- Statutory, Apprentice and Employment exchange management, Employee insurance, Contractor liasoning, Supervision Payroll, Time Keeping, To deal with Union,

Compensation :

- To maintain an effective system of attendance and leave record in the organization.

- Establishes & manage the company wage and salary structure, pay policies, and oversees the variable pay systems within the company including bonuses and raises.

- Leads competitive market research to establish pay practices and pay bands that help to recruit and retain superior staff.

- Monitors all pay practices and systems for effectiveness and cost containment.

- Leads participation in at least one salary survey per year.

- To assist the management in all activities relating to Assist and advise the management in the overall control of the payroll as budgeted by top management and the maintenance of personnel records.

Benefits :

- Monitors employee serving benefits and national benefits environment for options and cost savings.

- Leads the development of benefit orientations and other benefit training.

- Recommends changes in benefits offered, especially new benefits aimed at employee satisfaction and retention.

- To suggest welfare and incentive schemes to increase productivity and enhance staff motivation.

Industrial relation :

- To maintain constant liaison with the union and other labour leaders and attend all meetings related to industrial relations.

- To visit the residence of the employees as a representative of the management on auspicious as well as unhappy occasions

- To furnish any information on personnel required by the General manager HR

- In addition to the above mentioned duties and job functions, any other assignment given on an occasional basis or daily basis by the immediate superior or the management.

- To keep informed of such activities which may have repercussions on the industrial relations climate of the unit and to upraise the management of the same from time to time.

- Formulates and recommends Human Resources policies and objectives for the company with regard to employee relations.

- Partners with management to communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, programs and laws.

- Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.

- Conducts investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.

- Monitors and advises managers and supervisors in the progressive discipline system of the company. Monitors the implementation of a performance improvement process with non-performing employees.

- Reviews, guides, and approves management recommendations for employment terminations.

- Leads the implementation of company safety and health programs.

- Reviews employee appeals through the company complaint procedure

- To handle staff grievances, assist management in staff grievances,

Record Keeping :

- To track for the renewal of any license, agreements, registrations / approval required for the operation of companys business and for the procurement of any new license and approvals.

MIS :

- Monthly and Annual reports on all the legal compliances

- Attendance Muster / Wage muster

- Security, Safety & Hygiene reports

- Machinery maintenance report

- Fire drills

- Training report
