Head/Senior Manager - eCommerce Operations

The company is a hundred year old company which started business in Coloured Gemstones, Diamonds and Jewellery and now has a global presence with substantial business ventures. The group employs around 12,000 people in different parts of the world, covering 15 countries across 4 continents.

The Group aspires to spread its presence in every country of the world and lead the industry in responding to customers'needs, demonstrating leading edge practices and encouraging others to follow.

The position is based out of Hongkong and will be heading the Ecommerce operations.

The JD is as below :

1) To strategize about advertising and set ups

2) To come out of ideas on online promotional activities and also execute the ideas which includes coordination with logistics & shipping companies.

3) CRM Management (Building customer base and rolling out plans in managing them)

4) Using techniques to optimize cost which will require prior knowledge of payment gateway.

5) Managing the e-commerce portal which includes inventory management, order processing, & logistic coordination.

6) On fortnightly basis submit reports to determine market analysis & reports on web analysis.

7) Keeping up to date with market trend and competitor activity.

Desired Candidate profile :

Excellent communication skills verbal and written, time management skills, analytical skills, problem solving skills, self motivator and self starter.

Candidates who have experience of around 4-5 years in setting up the E commerce operations are preferred.
