Role Summary :
The Role involves managing the a team working on solutions for the new business pipeline as well as strategic deals from existing accounts and delivering on growth targets, while managing multiple Internal and External stakeholders.
- Coach and mentor a team of passionate experienced BD team members as well as new recruits to drive outcomes and team growth
- Manage team throughput and prioritization, ensuring quality of all solutions created by the team
- Interface with multiple internal stakeholders to establish the right deal strategies
- Manage the solutions for new deals as well as strategic deals on existing accounts
- Increase practice win rate on deals to grow the business
- Contribution to BU's business strategy and growth plans by crystallizing learnings and insights from past deals
- Work closely with the Business Development Executives, Client Partners and Delivery Partners and other stakeholders to drive the deal
- Driving solution workshops, due diligence exercises, strategy discussions, etc., with Company and customer
- The role will involve short term onsite travel for strategy meetings, due diligence, presentations, etc as applicable
- Driving organization initiatives like proactive solutions, sales support etc.
- Contribute to Best Practices and Innovation and share best practices across work areas, functions and sites.
- Look for opportunities to enhance the quantity and quality of services delivered
- Create standardized capability documents such as presentations/ Case Studies/ brochures
- Build the domain capability of the team
Skills Required :
- Director with good exposure in Business Development managing large complex deals
- Deep healthcare domain knowledge is must
- Ability to manage multiple levels of team members and drive team growth
- Strong communication skills
- Proven ability in driving growth initiatives and deal success
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple critical deliverables across the team
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations and build efficiencies and standardization
