Head - Security & Surveillance Solutions - Safe City/Smart City Domain

Brief of role and responsibilities:

- Responsible for creating the technology and solution roadmap including a focus on bridging from existing to newer IT strategies for Security and Surveillance solutions and Safe City/Smart City domains

- Lead, manage and hire the technology team including presales and bid management & help build, manage and validate technical roadmap for in- house products and solutions and integration with 3rd party solutions

- Effectively advise the account and sales team on technology, products and strategy, providing relevant resources, technical benefits and product advice in the public safety domain

- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the partner and OEM ecosystem in order to identify and include new partners to define innovative solution maps for the customer

- Lead and manage the presales and bid management team for tender preparation including pre-bid queries, solution architecture and design, commercials and POC

- Combines knowledge of and experience in the industry, market trends, regulatory issues, understanding of the target industry competitive landscape and architecture/technology trends to drive business in Public Safety domain

- Prepare and present engagement and bid reviews on a monthly/quarterly basis to senior management

Must Have Skills/Knowledge:

- Deep understanding and knowledge of SI projects and preferably should have spearheaded the complex projects in this area

- Domain expertise in Safe Cities, Smart Cities, Biometric Solutions and Airport IT Modernization Solutions

- Ability to articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of both the company and its offerings and secure long-term commitments

- Preferably well recognized across the Security and Surveillance industry with established relationships and connects at executive and CXO levels

- Expert knowledge of the customer's industry, trends, emerging technologies, methodologies, competitors and company's strategy and solutions in the Security and surveillance industry

- Should possess the required experience, credibility and presence that enables effective working relationships at all levels within very large and complex organizations

- Good knowledge of various CCTV surveillance, perimeter and access control, command and control, smart cities and analytics solutions
