Head - Securities & Custody Services Department

- 12 + Years of Experience in managing large teams in both Bonds & Equity Settlements.

- Should be an AVP in his current capacity.

- Wealth Management Domain will be an added.

Department: WM Operations - SCS / Bonds / Structured Notes / Options

Region: APAC

Objectives:

- Direct contribution to Banks operational permanent control framework

- Responsible for the implementation of operational permanent control policies and procedures

- Responsible for ensuring team members comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines

- Responsible for reporting all incidents according to the IMS team

- Responsible for ensuring job description are written, distributed and updated.

- Provide business support, project and organization matters with relation to Securities & Custody Services

Responsibilities:

- Oversee Securities & Custody Services Department - ensure optimal administrative production in terms of processing deadlines and quality of service.

- Review SCS operational workflow, identify potential Operational Risk areas and propose improvements to enhance productivity/efficiency.

- Build a robust and effective Team to carry out imperative task towards establishment of a focus and cohesive operational strategy.

- Participate actively in the review, implementation and update of new products, write-up of procedures on new products as well as training and information dissemination of new products to staff.

- Actively participate in IT projects relating to SCS working closely with MO, and be responsible for the smooth implementation / roll out of projects relating to SCS (including projects impacting the industry).

- Providing a means of alert and reporting to Regional Head of Ops.

- Ensure SCS's statistic submitted for Quarterly COO statistics reporting are accurate, relevant and meaningful.

- Ensure prompt follow-up/resolution of outstanding items in Nostro/Custodian accounts.

- Participate in BCP documentation/drills; ensure that staff is kept up to date on BCP drills/activation.
