ROLE : SEO Head

To provide leadership to the SEO team for various platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategy.

- Creating overall business strategy and plan for SEO channel and putting forth implementation plan for the same.

- Responsible for driving overall organic traffic and improving the conversion contribution of organic channels.

- Conducting keyword research to identify improvement and optimization opportunities.

- Tracking, reporting and analyzing website analytics. Executing tests, collecting and analyzing data, identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum engagement and achieving competitive keyword rankings.

- Managing offsite and onsite optimization projects and reporting on performance.

- Work with in house content writer, operations, Business development and PR specialist to ensure the content is relevant to SEO strategy and keyword focus

Requirements/Desired Skills :

- Analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams.

- Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential to this role.

- Adequate knowledge of both off page and on page optimization techniques.

- Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.

- Experience in setting up automated reports and dashboards on core SEO KPIs.

- Familiarity with relevant tools and web analytics tools, experience in SEO management positions preferably within an agency.

- Proven track record of developing and executing SEO strategies.

- Experience of managing team of SEO Specialists

- Experience of conducting technical audits and recommending fixes.

- Minimum of 6 years experience as SEO in India (mandatory)

- Prior experience in a start-up environment is definite plus
