We are currently looking for of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) for one of our MNC client based at Hyderabad.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the PPC team vision.
- Lead and create strategies for brand growth and ensure a clear road map is communicated to the management.
- Work with the brand/client/campaign teams to ensure alignment between paid acquisition and campaign activity.
- Be good at client management and develop the team to be also.
- Build and execute a paid acquisition program to generate new inbound leads on SEM platforms;
- Manage the paid acquisition PPC spend to budget with a strong focus on ROI.
- Implement a measurement system for advertising spend enabling us to identify the best-performing channels and the cost per lead for each channel;
- Work with the team - brief the requirements for ad copy and graphics as well as jointly review performance to improve continually.
- Hands-on experience of Google AdWords and of running ad campaigns on the major media networks and ad exchanges.
- Experience managing large budgets, either in-house or for a client;
- Experience running multi-channel campaigns for both lead acquisition and brand awareness;
- In-depth knowledge of the data side of advertising and the ability to use the right data to make decisions based on desired outcomes;
- Creative judgement and experience of writing briefs for creative teams to build the content for ad campaigns;
- The ability and passion for the subject to combine day-to-day tactical campaign management with longer-term strategic planning;
- Experience working on both UK and International campaigns.
- Salesforce/Power BI experience is a plus but not necessary.
- Own the budget for SEM channel, with targets set based on tight CPL/CPA requirements
- Liaise with stakeholders across the marketing and product teams to ensure objectives are aligned
- Provide strong leadership to a lean but powerful team which you will inherit and establish it as a centre of excellence for the Group.
- Attract, mentor and retain a talented team that leads the industry in innovation and results
- Work closely with a cross-functional team of marketers, creatives and digital marketing to develop and execute fully integrated marketing experiences
- Develop and execute digital strategies across platforms including paid search, Youtube, etc. as well as running display campaigns & programmatic.
- Measure and report on impact and effectiveness of paid channels and continuously improve resource allocation, scalability and ROI
- Collaborate with brand marketing teams to ensure creative assets achieve all paid media objectives based on data-driven goals
- Own research, forecasting, planning, execution and performance analysis for PPC initiatives
- Ensure that brand consistency is maintained in both the messaging and visual across all PPC campaigns.
- Remain up-to-date on relevant news, trends and best practices within media and performance marketing
- Develop development plans for staff across the hierarchy within your mandate.
- Be a self-starter with exceptional relationship-building, client management, people management and influencing skills
- Be the face of the team to our global clients (sister companies) and ensure client retention and acquisition for newly acquired brands.
- Manage direct reports of 5-6 PPC managers, specialists and Group of sr. and jr. executives.
- Liaison with other teams within digital marketing (Paid Social, Affiliate & SEO), and Analytics and business intelligence to ensure your team collaborates on knowledge sharing and maximises learnings from others to the clients' benefit.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years working in paid media, majority agency-side experience preferred
- Significant experience managing integrated campaigns across search platforms
- Experience using tools and technology to support best-in-class campaign management (e.g. Smartly, Kenshoo, Marin, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of Google Tag Manager and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)
- Experience with A/B and multivariate testing techniques and tools (Optimizely, etc.)
- Experience testing and implementing landing pages
- Excellent sales and negotiation track record - Working in an agency/network/client-side
- Working in the public or private education sector
