Head - SAP & Services - IT (15-20 yrs)

Job Purpose:

- Working as bridge between corporate IT team and business

- Driving automation and implementation of business processes related to SD/MM module along with ensuring integration with FI

- Driving business endeavour to benchmark with industry peers in creating customer delight and creating experiences through automation, dealer portal etc.

- Identifying opportunities to improve by taking inputs from internal and/or external customers

- Participation in corporate projects related to SAP/Automation

- Creating policies and protocols related to IT/SAP

- Skill building in internal /external customers for better use of IT platforms

- Leading team and providing guidance to ensure correctness and hygiene of all SAP and non SAP masters and providing day to day guidance in other areas

- Providing technical support to all internal and external customers

Automation and implementation of new business systems and processes

- Working out road map in consultation with corporate IT and business leaders

- Identifying areas of automation and driving the process

- Working on SAP related changes

- Collaboration on new initiatives of corporate IT/ strategy team

- Providing support and guidance in MIS and other reports- developments and implementation

- Co-ordination with SD/MM/FI consultants for new developments/problem solving.

- Doing technical testing before user testing and integration

Driving business endeavour to benchmark with industry peers in creating customer delight by creating experiences through automation, dealer portal etc.

- Studying IT processes of industry peers to identify areas of improvement

- Gathering information on what new happening or being planned by industry peers

- Creating plan, discussion with business leaders, checking feasibility, getting it cleared from corporate and other teams and implementation of initiatives

- Tracking of implementation, measurement of actual benefit vs planned benefit, planning course correction to optimise benefit

Participation in corporate projects, SAP testing and alignment of business with corporate IT strategy - Working as SD and MM Champion on behalf of business

- Participation in concept development and implementation of corporate projects from business side

- Working as single point contact for arranging data and technical information of business for corporate projects

Control over masters and ensuring data integrity

- Attending to Internal, Statutory and System audit issues and arranging changes in the system

- Ensuring periodic integrity tests of masters

- Putting systems and processes in place to ensure integrity of data and processes in line with company policies

- Creating internal testing system and conducting random analysis to check and ensure correctness of data

- Guiding and teaching people to adopt good IT related habits and practices

- Arranging training and workshop for internal and external customers

Customer Satisfaction and problem solving

- Putting a system in place to close issues in time bound manner

- Developing and implementing proactive systems to improve customer delight (internal as well as external)

- Planning and implementation of new developments internally and externally at third party locations i.e., dealer, warehouse agent, supplier etc.

- Conducting training and workshops for internal and external customers on software /new developments

- Taking time to time feedback from internal customers as well as vendors/dealers on their expectation from portals and in areas of IT

Driving the function and development of the team

- Creating targets and KPIs of function

- To participate in recruitment and selection process of team members

- Guiding and nurturing team members for their role

- To develop team members for future role and continuous enrichment of existing roles

- Ensuring participation of team in CFTs
