We have an opening with a leading telecom service provider for the role of Circle Sales Head - AP.  Job Description:  The Sales Head is responsible for driving sales across distribution/ - mass- retail and direct sales channels (Distribution/ multi-brand outlets, Direct sales, Telemarketing, Modern Trade). Distribution Lead and Direct Sales Lead at the zone report to Sales Head at the circle.  The Sales Head reports to Circle Sales & Marketing Head.  Key Accountabilities:  - Formulate and implement the circle sales & distribution strategy, in order to attain market leadership through growth in terms of gross numbers, revenues, market share and profit, while complying with agreed budget, quality of additions and corporate policy guidelines  - Achieve Gross and Net Acquisition target in the circle for distribution/ - mass- retail, direct sales, telemarketing and modern trade channels (basically all sales channels apart from exclusive retail - Vodafone stores/ mini-stores/ ADVMS)  - Initiate distribution expansion to improve reach, coverage and expand geographical footprint  - Assist Circle S&M Head & Marketing Head in new product launches to increase penetration / revenues from new / existing subscribers   - Provide feedback on competitive moves to protect base and increase share of subscribers and revenue  Required Experience/ Skills:  - 8 -10 years of experience in FMCG/retail industry  - Multi-national, multi-geography team leadership experience to bring in best practices  - Experience with distribution planning and channel implementation  - P&L management skills  Desired Competencies/ Skills:  - Ability to lead a distribution channel, with large number of touch points   - Ability to manage in dynamic, high-growth, high-uncertainty environments  - Powerful influencing skills, effective relationship management skills and proven ability to function within a matrix-organisation  - Independent thought leadership and drive to execute - should be a recognised industry leader in his/ her specific area of competence  Ranu Mhambrey
