PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :
- The Sales Head will drive new business; develop relationships as well as upsell existing customer prospects in India
- The role is intended to bring in new revenue streams into the organization. The role is also to maintain and grow existing revenue streams.
- This individual will be required to devise and actively implement Marketing Plan & New Business development sales plan.
- The Sales Head will work closely with product / tech and finance teams internally to ideate and create a value proposition that helps position Company's value proposition in the target sector
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers that achieve assigned sales targets
- Grow existing businesses and make them more efficient
- Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
- Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods and indirect methods Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales
- Consult with prospect about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each.
- Design & implement marketing strategies and programs to increase the awareness of the product
- Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
- Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis
- Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities for company to deliver value, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes and forecasted sales
- Identify sales support requirements and work to improve sales tools
- Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace
- Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity
- Own up to a particular revenue target.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES :
- Achieves assigned revenue in designated sector.
- Meets assigned expectations for profitability.
- Becomes an internal voice of customer during the pursuit to ensure customer needs are being met in line with internal guidelines
- Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE :
- Engineer in any stream / Equivalent graduation. MBA in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage.
- 12 to 15 years of experience in sales of which at least 5 years should be in handling Enterprise Account with a Technology Product Company
