Job Title Sales - HOD
Reports To Managing Director
KEY ACCOUNTABLES:
- To manage & head the entire Sales team on an All India basis.
- Be responsible to achieve the set Sales Target with minimum agreed rates of profitability.
- To bid for and obtain business from Shipyards, ONGC, SCI and other Private shipping owning & management / Offshore companies.
- To bid for and obtain business from Indian Navy & Coast Guard.
- To bid for and obtain business from Oceanography organizations like NIO, NSTL, NIOT, etc
- To successfully participate in all relevant tenders and full knowledge of GeM.
- To suggest additions to regular product lines .
- To conduct & organize the required training of Sales personnel.
- To closely interact with all customers and ensure 100% or near 100% customer satisfaction for all sales delivered.
- To respond to customer complaints and resolve them strictly within set time frames.
- To manage Projects, to monitor implementation and keep track of existing Projects to be within time & cost budgets.
- To ensure the smooth coordination of the Sales Department with the internal support departments i.e. Supply Chain , Accounts, IT & HR.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
- A strong background in Sales in the Marine industry or Navy of at least 15 years, with a proven record of achieving Sales Targets.
- Technical qualifications such as a BE in Electronics.
- Additional qualifications in Management from a premier institute preferred.
- Strong marketing skills with ability to successfully close deals.
- A high level of energy with an analytical mind.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to deal with senior management.
- Tech savvy and familiarity with latest IT systems.
- Ability to take pressure and work under pressure.
- Strong "Customer - Centric" attitude, with 24X7 availability to customers.
