- To conceptualize and design effective business structures and work processes to ensure the team is execution-focused and top line and bottom-line growth plans are met consistently
- Spearheaded all initiatives to achieve sales and driving the shopper imagery in the channel.
- Responsible for all market activations, customer account profitability, and grievances handling for Modern trade
- Responsible for sales, commercial, compliances and all new product introduction initiatives in Modern Trade
- To create and monitor a Modern Trade Strategy blueprint covering all aspects such as Account Management, Sales, Category Management, JBP, Budget Ownership and Sales Processes
- Plan and deliver growth in MT channel for key brands, measured both in terms of volume/value growth and market share gains
- Deliver an MT business with a team structure consisting of ASMs, TSO, TSI and cross-functional interface with commercial and supply chain departments
- Identify skill gaps in team and establishing professional development requirements for the Sales team to lead capability building efforts
- Overseeing entire gamut of activities like Joint business plan meeting, Terms of Trade Closure, New launches, Trade Promotions and Closure of activation calendar with accounts
Worked in tandem with the Brand Marketing team and Category Heads to an equivalent of Brand strategy for the Modern Trade ecosystem

- Current level of the candidate not to be less than Manager
- Must have handled South plus any other region. The role is to take care of pan India sales with all the ASMs reporting to him.
