This is a National Role with a leading Lubricant company.

Head Of Sales & Marketing is a key to management role.

It will be a part of the top think tank of the organisation.

The head of sales and marketing will have the following role dimensions:

1. Strong Sales & Marketing Orientation

2. S&M Planning & Strategizing

3. Policy and Process Design, Implementation and Review

- He will have to present annual report on the performance of the business unit to President & CEO and ensure the execution of the sales and marketing plans.

4. Branding, Consumer insights & Communication

- As the company looks forward to see their brand among the top three in the country, the branding and communication becomes the key to this role.

5. Management of performance, capability and morale

- Managing performance is a key to every successful leader. Ensure training and employee engagement activities for the sales and marketing team members.

6. Leadership Skills

- Incumbent must demonstrate strong team management and leadership skills as he will be required to manage the entire national sales force. Keeping the team morale high as well as empowering the team to deliver will be the key success factor.

Ideal Candidate

- A graduate/BE/MBA with 18- 25 years’ experience in sales and marketing from consumer industry with a distributor focused business model.

- Currently should be heading & successfully managing a strong Sales/Marketing team in a large organization at a national level for at least 3-4 years .

- Having track record of leading specific sales delivery in line with budgets within a senior sales role, marketing / communication campaigns which led to enhancement of market shares and / or margins, along with improvement in product.

- Should have hands on management style and proven experience of managing and motivating teams.

- Possess strong organizational, time management, negotiation, communication skills.

- Strong connect with market & go-getter personality. Strong and effective leadership style & good track record of managing large teams.

- Self driven, proactive and fire in the belly.
